CLUB: Counties R.C. @ Pukekohe Park
Established in 1919-20, Counties Racing Club is one of the country’s newest racing clubs. Located within Pukekohe Park the club plays host to twelve race meetings a year. Situated 35 minutes South of downtown Auckland and a 30 minute drive from Auckland Airport, Pukekohe Park is one of the most unique venues offering thrilling horse racing, premier motorsport and a first class function centre. The racecourse has an all weather training facility with approximately 200 horses trained here each morning.

Pukekohe Park Racecourse
Heading to PUKEKOHE from AUCKLAND:
The main route from Auckland to Pukekohe is on the Southern Motorway (SH1). Travel along the southern motorway for approximately 38km. Take the 471 Bombay Exit. After existing the motorway, turn right onto Mill Road. The area is well sign posted. Mill road will lead you straight into Pukekohe (be aware the names changes to Pukekohe East Road after approximately 2.5km). You will enter Pukekohe and need to turn slightly left at the first intersection. At the roundabout 100m ahead, Turn left onto Manukau Road. Travel along Manukau Road for approximately 1.5km. Pukekohe Park is on your left as you start to exit the business district of Pukekohe.
Heading to PUKEKOHE from HAMILTON:
Get straight onto State Highway 1 heading North. Continue along this road for approximately 73km. Take the 471 Bombay Exit. After existing the motorway, turn left onto Mill Road. The area is well sign posted. Mill road will lead you straight into Pukekohe (be aware the names changes to Pukekohe East Road after approximately 2.5km).

Admission: Admission and parking are generally free.
Facilities: All race meetings at Counties Racing Club provide access to covered viewing for the public along with hot food, cash bars and a great atmosphere. An Eftpos facility is available in the administration office.

Become A Member: For a cost of $75 per year you can become a member of the Counties Racing Club. Your membership will include a members badge along with two guest swingers. The Motor Sport track plays host to the NZ V8 Serious, Motorcycle Racing as well as regular test days during which the public can attend.
