RACECOURSE: Cambridge
The Cambridge Jockey Club races three times a year in April (Premier Race Day), June and November at Te Rapa racecourse in Hamilton. The Club owns a significant training complex at 40 Racecourse Road, Cambridge. Facilities include a fully irrigated Course with grass for galloping and both left and right handed tracks and a separate hurdle and steeplechase tracks open from 1st March to 31st October. There’s also a flood lit sand and plough track as well as an equine swimming pool. Flat trials are held ten months of the year and Jumping Trials during the winter months.

Cambridge Racecourse
Driving directions to the Cambridge Training Centre – Travel south from Hamilton on State Highway 1; 5km after passing the Tamahere and Airport Road turnoff turn left into Racecourse Road. The Club’s Training Centre is at the end of this road on the left hand side.
Te Rapa Racecourse is located to the north of the city on SH1, Te Rapa Road, Hamilton.
On race day access is easiest off Te Rapa Road into Sir Tristram Avenue, which is located on the LHS of Te Rapa Road travelling north.
Entrance to Sir Tristram Avenue is sign posted between the National Bank building and Fairview Motors car yard, on the opposite side of the road from the Super Liquor Te Rapa outlet.
Away from race days, access is only available via Ken Browne Drive at the southern entrance. This is located from the roundabout off Garnet Avenue after turning left at the traffic lights on Te Rapa Road for motorists travelling north.

This is Cambridge Jockey Club’s Premier Race Day featuring the Group 2 Travis Stakes for fillies and mares over 2000 metres and the Group 3 Windsor Park Stud Breeders Stakes for three year olds over 1200 metres.

Membership: Membership costs are $28.00 incl GST and entitles the member to two Members Lounge passes.
