CLUB: Egmont R.C.
Egmont Racing Club holds three race meetings per year at Hawera Racecourse in August, October and May and July. There is a spacious 1800m track with a 425m straight and is generally acknowledged as one of the better racing tracks in the Central Districts.

Featuring the running of the Group III Fillies & Mares WFA Windsor Park Taranaki Breeders Stakes run over 1400m and also the Linepower Egmont Cup.
Lead-up to raceday includes a Friday Golf Tournament and Calcutta.

The venue has two Grandstands; the Members have four lounges, 3 upstairs and 1 below. It can provide corporate facilities for parties up to 100. The Public Grandstand has a large concrete steps providing excellent viewing of the course.
Membership cost is $28 per annum which provides Members facilities for two at each raceday.
There are no admission charges at any Raceday.
